WAHOO. This is a very exciting day. I've been playing with the capsule wardrobe concept for the past year; this is my fourth season, and I'm finally ready to share my fall 2015 capsule wardrobe with you. I've found a lot of value in implementing the capsule wardrobe into my life—my style has become very clear, I do less impulse shopping and all the items in my closet bring me joy and happiness. Gone are the days of having "nothing to wear." As you'll see by clicking the links below is that my fall capsule combines both high and low fashion.
While the whole concept of fast fashion is for another time, I do use fast fashion chain stores as a way to experiment with different styles and to buy things that I will only likely wear for one season. On the other hand, when buying investment style pieces, like a blazer coat or a leather jacket, I invest in quality because those are pieces that I will carry with me through many seasons. This season I'm working with 40 items total—27 pieces of clothing, 8 pairs of shoes, 3 bags, 1 pair of sunglasses, 1 hat. BOOM. I am very, very happy with what I created for this season. Note that this does not include über nice dress-up attire or lounge/workout clothes. I feel like I have really stream-lined my wardrobe to be the perfect mix of the five words I chose to represent my style, which you can read about here. So without further or due, here's my Fall 2015 Capsule Wardrobe.
