I'm doing some major catch up and have been sifting through images of Copenhagen these past few weeks and am excited to be sharing some of my soul trip highlights with you. As I've mentioned, I'm starting to dip my toes into traveling blogging as I embark on my digital nomad journey. Just the other day I posted a curated guide of where to eat gluten-free in Copenhagen and will plan to share these city guides for healthy travelers as I make my way 'round the world. One of the highlights of my trip was staying in a gorgeous Scandinavian design Airbnb in Copenhagen, specifically the Vesterbro neighborhood. Before I get to reviewing the apartment and sharing some awesome pictures, we are all familiar with Airbnb, right!?! Airbnb is a site that allows hosts around the world to post listings of private rooms, shared rooms and entire apartments/homes for travelers to rent. It is a fantastic alternative for travelers who want to experience a place like a local and to avoid staying in hotels. Airbnb is also a fabulous option for budget and health conscious travelers because most times you have access to a kitchen and can cook your own food (ya'll know I love that!) If you're interested in signing up and giving Airbnb a try, sign up through my link, which will give both of us a discount on a future stay! Yippee for that!
If you're looking for a FABULOUS place to stay while you visit Copenhagen and indulge in the incredible food scene, then I highly suggest you stay here. The space was fabulous and even better than pictured. It was located in the trendy Vesterbro neighborhood, which seemed to be where all the über stylish Danish professionals lived. I loved this neighborhood and couldn't recommend it more. The best part was that I felt über safe in this neighborhood and regularly biked/walked around during the night with no problems (this is key as a solo female traveler!) It also felt very centrally located in the city and I could bike to just about anywhere I needed to go in ten minutes or so. The airbnb was super cozy—the best part in my opinion was definitely the kitchen. Bright, white and minimalistic. Utter perfection. I would absolutely suggest anyone to stay here. The host, Karen, was so kind. She owns a fabulous vintage shop in Nørrebro and I felt so welcomed by her. It's awesome showing up in a place and instantly feeling welcomed by the host!! All in all, I coulnd't suggest this place more and would absolutely stay here again (if my wallet can afford it next time!)
